Progress of IT parks in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur reviewed
GWALIOR SANDESH : While reviewing the progress of IT parks being developed in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur, Minister of Science, Technology and Public Relations, Shri P.C. Sharma today said that there should not be any obstruction in these works. He cautioned that the institutions which have been allotted plots in the IT park, should not face any difficulties like procedural delay etc. from the government agencies in running the activities.
Minister Shri Sharma issued necessary instructions in connection with establishing an ultra modern sensitive centre in the state for study related to climate change with the help of Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune. He laid stress on the need to prepare a roadmap for developing exellent centres of information technology in the state as developed in Silicon City. Shri Sharma instructed to complete the work of atmospheric test bed being developed in Shyampur near Bhopal for study related to climate change.
It was informed that Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology will organize events like science fairs and Vigyan Manthan Yatra for the purpose of developing scientific thinking and perspectives in students, researchers and citizens of the state. Grants will be provided to students and researchers for research. There was a consensus to initiate Dr. C.V Raman and Dr. Vishveshvaraiyya Memorial Award for the promotion of researchers and inventors in the science and technology sector in the meeting.
