Indian Students will now compete globally through the National Education Policy: Dr. Sharma
GWALIOR : Amity School of Mass Communication, Amity University Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with Institutions Innovation Council, Ministry of Education organised Interactive Session on National Education Policy 2020. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, HoD, Hindi Department, Madhav Mahavidyalaya, Gwalior. The program was inaugurated by (Dr) Sumit Narula, Director and Deputy Dean Research, Amity School of Mass Communication. The program was organized under the guidance of Amity Vice Chancellor Lt Gen VK Sharma, AVSM, (Retd) Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. MP Kaushik.
The keynote speaker of this program, Dr. Shiv Kumar Sharma discussed in detail the innovations in the field of education as in the National Education Policy 2020. He said that under the new education policy to make India self-reliant, students would get value based inclusive education, while scientific thinking would be developed in the students and skill training would be provided to them. He said that now the students of India will also be able to compete at the global level through the National Education Policy. Dr. Sharma said that many provisions have been made in NEP to further raise the level of quality of teachers. The new education policy will make Indian students global citizens and at the same time keeping connected with their civilization.
During the concluding session (Dr.) Sumit Narula, Director and Deputy Dean Research expressed his views on the provisions of the National Education Policy to make India a world leader in the field of economic power and research. He thanked keynote speaker Dr.Shiv Kumar Sharma for sharing his knowledge and experience with the students. All the heads of departments, professors and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
