The press plays the role of a bridge between the government and the society: Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh
Gwalior. The swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed office bearers of the photojournalist cell of MP Journalist Association was organized at Gwalior Press Club. Chief guest Gwalior Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh said that the press and media have an important role in the democratic system, the press plays the role of a bridge between the government and the society. He also said although all the media of the press have their own importance, but the work of press photographers is a bit more risky, who do coverage on the spot in all kinds of circumstances. Government and administration are serious and sensitive towards their problems and work related requirements and all possible steps will be taken to give them full security and facilities.
The Superintendent of Police, Shri Amit Sanghi, presiding over the swearing-in ceremony, expressed his resolve that he would direct all the officers and staff of his department that the photojournalists of all the newspapers of Gwalior have an easy access during photo coverage at various events and crime spots in any way, without any problem. He said Photojournalists can contact them at any time in case of complaint. He said that there has always been a cordial relationship between the police administration and photojournalists in Gwalior and this cooperative tradition will always be maintained.
On this occasion, as special guests, Public Relations Officer Hitendra Singh Bhadauria, Provincial President of Madhya Pradesh Journalists Association Surendra Mathur, Founder General Secretary and President of Press Club Rajesh Sharma, Senior Journalists Dr. Suresh Samrat, Guru Charan Singh, State President of Electronic Media Raj Dubey were specially present.
On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi and Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh welcomed the initiative and administered the oath of allegiance to the photojournalist by wearing a jacket. The program was conducted by Vice President of the cell Rakesh Verma and General Secretary of the cell, Ravi Upadhyay highlighted the relevance of the organization.
The vote of thanks was given by Rajesh Jaiswal Chhotu, president of the cell. On this occasion, District President of Madhya Pradesh Journalists Association Harish Chandra, Pradeep Tomar, Dinesh Rao, Jogendra Sen, Harish Upadhyay, Harish Dubey, Shyam Pathak, Pramod Shinde, Ramkishan Katare, Ravi Yadav, Vishnu Agarwal, Chandresh Garg, Sachin Sharma, Gaurav Sharma along with Electronic media’s Vinod Sharma Nasir Gauri, Raman Sharma, Karan Mishra, Bhupendra Sahu, Manoj Tiwari, Rakesh Jha, Hem Singh Kushwaha etc. were present.
