International Conference on Resilience and Re-inventing Business was held at VUCA World at Amity Business School

GWALIOR: An International Conference on Resilience and Re-inventing Business was held at VUCA World at Amity Business School, Amity University Gwalior. Vice Chancellor Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Lt Gen VK Sharma, AVSM (Retd) delivered the welcome address and expressed his views on the subject. Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht introduced the conference.

The guest of the International Conference, Mr. Kishore Jayaraman, President, Rolls-Royce, India and South Asia, Prof. John Dewar, Vice Chancellor and President, L.A. Trobe University, Australia, Padma Shri Prof. Geshe Ngwang Samten, Vice Chancellor, Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Prof. Peter Hurd, Vice-Chancellor and Provost, Sunway University, Malaysia and Prof. Pradeep Nair, Vice Chancellor, Taylor University, Malaysia benefited the participants with his thoughts. While the Pro Vice Chancellor of Amity, Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Kaushik enriched everyone’s knowledge with information based on his research work.

All the speakers agreed on that some companies are more resilient than others because of the ability of these organizations to do a SWOT Analysis of the external and internal environment and incorporate this in their future strategies. Resilience helps the businesses to recover rapidly in times of disruption and become future ready.

On this occasion of the international conference, the guests released an e-book. The queries of the participants were also addressed during the question and answer session.
